Chillin’

Sittin’ here chillin’ like a villain, Mr. Freeze style

Just relaxin’ and listenin’ to dope tunes

And with my mind at ease like this, I doubt I’ll be doing anything else for a while

Bumpin’ the PUTS; the keys of People Under the Stairs’ “Sunroof”

This beat is the epitome of leisure time

Noddin’ my head as I put pen to paper

Whistlin’ to myself the sounds of this beat

And thankfully, I have the option of workin’ now, or later

On this beautiful Monday I have absolutely nowhere to be

Simply me writing rhymes and lines, this poetry

Without anything to do but relax and have a nice time

No problems, no worries and just writin’ away happily

I don’t ever recall feelin’ this good on Mondays, but I feel sublime

No school, no chores,

No stress and no problems

Nothin’ to worry about, no assigned college courses

No job meetings and no workin’

And best of all, no feelin’ badly or crappy

Just smilin’ like a fool, happy-go-lucky,

I’d better enjoy these chill moments

‘Cause life can and will get hectic before I can blink

So while I’m at it, let me finish this rhyme, and start up again
