Henrik’s POV:

This dream was surreal. It wasn’t a violent dream, nor was it a dream about my future, my life as it is right now; or anything that pertains to reality. This realm was unreal. In this new world, my thoughts took form into things I could touch. Things I could taste. Things I could see. Feel. These weren’t dreams in which I felt I had no control over, no idea what was going on. This wasn’t a dream where I felt helpless to things around me……THIS, was a dream that wasn’t a dream at all, but rather an experience. An experience I had full control over. And in this dream, I could make my thoughts an unreal reality. In this place I’ve seen things I’ve never seen before. I created things that only existed in the deepest, most imaginative places of my mind. And I did this all, with my thoughts.

The dream started with me at these beautifully crafted, aluminum gates. So naturally being the curious human being that I am, I try to enter through these gates and to my surprise, the moment I took one step towards the gates, they begin to open. “

Oh wow….” I mumble to myself. I rub my hand through my bed hair and take in my surroundings. I’m on a concrete walkway and on either side of me, are just miles and miles of pristinely cut, green grass. And strangely enough, the grass is perfectly illuminated despite, the sky being pitch black. As I noticed this oddity, I looked up and see the moon glowing beautifully.

“My goodness, what is this,” I think to myself. I continue on this walkway blindly, not knowing where this will lead me, exactly. I begin to look down at myself and see that the only article of clothing I have on, are my dark blue Adidas shorts with nothing else on besides that. I think to myself, “Oh geez, why in this dream do I barely have any clothes on?” Then suddenly, I feel a light weight on my torso, warmth around my feet, and something on my left wrist. I look back down to see that I’m now fully clothed. “What in the world?” I’m now wearing my grey Adidas t-shirt, ankle cut white socks with royal blue Nike Air Max 2013s, with my lucky, white rubber band on my left wrist.

“How did I all of a sudden end up with clothes?” And by this time, I’ve stopped travelling along the walkway, just to figure out what’s going on in this weird dream of mine.

I begin telling myself, “I gotta slow down for a minute and check out what’s goin’ on here.” I bend down at my knees and rub my hands through the grass to feel it’s moist from dew. “Okay…I can feel everything here…..” I then get up and begin walking along this path once more and think to myself, “How can I be able to feel that….” I slowly begin to pick up my pace trying to figure out what’s going on here and the path somehow begins to get longer. Once I notice this second oddity, I begin to sprint. Baffled I think to myself, “What in the world is going on, is this path getting longer?!” And as I’m sprinting the concrete begins to just get longer and longer at an extremely fast pace. I try to run as fast as I possibly can to reach the end, but it isn’t looking likely. “I’m gonna need frickin’ wings to reach the end!”

And somehow I’m suddenly in mid-air, “AAAAH!!!” I start flailing my legs wildly and I shout, “OOOOOH, LET ME DOOOOWN!!!” Then suddenly I plummet back down to the concrete path with a loud, “THUMP.” I land on my rear end and the pain of falling so fast back down to Earth has left me a little discombobulated.“What the heck just happened…? How did I feel that?” I then feel an odd sensation in my back and then something grazes my shoulders, and arms all the way down to my hands. I quickly get up in a panic, slapping my arms, hands and legs expecting this to be a bunch of bugs or something crawling on me and I come to find out they’re feathers; millions of pure white feathers, “….Huh?” I pick up a handful of feathers and ask to no one in particular, “Where did these come from??” I then look up to see the pathway has stopped increasing in length and I quickly drop the feathers, to run along this path again. “I don’t know what the heck is going on, but now I wanna know what’s up.” It doesn’t take me too long to reach the end of the path and what I see next, has me in awe.

What I see is what appears to be a black and red striped, anthropomorphic hedgehog standing at a gothic looking grave site. The famous video game character known as Shadow the Hedgehog looks like he’s quite depressed from this angle. And before I could utter a single word he turns around quickly and gives me the coldest glare I’ve ever seen. His aggressive facial expression quickly dissipates as he recognizes it’s not an enemy I’m assuming. “You must’ve figured out how to stop the walkway from infinitely extending….” Confused I ask, “How do you know about that? Where the heck I am? And why am I talking to you? This is totally freaky!”He just looks at me and makes a grunting noise, “Hmph.” And next thing I know he’s enveloped in a green light. I shield my eyes quickly and check the spot where he was now formerly standing. “What the fu--“ I catch myself from finishing that sentence and begin walking through this dark grave site.

“Why am I dreaming about a stinkin’ video game character? Or better yet, a grave site?” I begin looking at some of the names on these headstones and thankfully I don’t recognize any of the names, so far. I think to myself, “This has got to be the trippiest dream I’ve ever had……” I rub my right hand against the headstones as I slowly walk through this site. I continue to think about this dream and what happened earlier on the walkway, “Was I flying earlier? It seemed like every time I thought about something it came to be. But……I’ve never had a dream like this before. So how is that possible?” I shake my head and begin walking away from this grave site and deeper into this unknown realm.

While the pathway may have ended at the chain-link fences of the grave site, another one begins here at the other side of the site. I nervously take another step on the concrete and begin walking; now seriously taking in my surroundings for anything suspicious or dangerous. “I wonder if these kind of dreams are foreshadowing something……” Nothing appears to be dangerous in this part of the dream; actually, everything appears really similar to the first part of it. Only difference is that the skies are now beautiful shades of orange, purple, and red. “I’m guessin’ that means the sun’s comin’up…..Man, what a freaky dream.” I stop for a moment to readjust my clothes, and notice a river on my left. I walk over to the river and take a look at my reflection. I look deeply into the reflection and see a small flash of something and blink.

And unexpectedly I hear a buzzing sound. I flinch at the noise and I hear it again, I look around and it seems as if every time I blink, I hear this buzzing sound. This weird realm begins to shake and vibrate and I fall to my knees. Petrified I shout out,“WHAT IS HAPPENING?!?!?!?!” I curl up in a ball, hoping nothing happens to me and next thing I know everything is black.

I jump out of my bed to turn off my blaring alarm clock, and am sweating all over. I wake up short of breath, and greedily suck in all the oxygen I can. Panting, I say to myself, “Holy crap that was amazing.” I look down and even though I’m in the dark, I can still tell I’m just in my dark blue Adidas shorts, with no shirt on. I rub my hand in my messy bedhead and begin taking my clothes out of dresser to get ready for the morning. It’s still dark out, so it’s pretty early and as I walk into my bathroom and turn the light on, I cover my eyes at the lights. “GEEZ,” I shout into my hand. “I hate that….” I then put my clothes on the bathroom counter, and grab my wash cloth from off the hook in my bathroom. Before I undress and prepare to jump in the shower, I look into the mirror and just look at it for a moment. “That dream was so trippy……Man…..that was wicked.” I shake my head at the thought and start up the hot water in the shower. And I mutter to myself, “Man, do I have an awesome story to tell the fam’, today.” I chuckle and step into the shower and get prepared for my morning.

Part One: Kisa’s Point of View

“Ouch!” I exclaimed as I landed on something hard.

Waving my hand in front of my face, I had to bite my lip in order to hold back the panic I felt bubbling in my stomach. Where ever I was, the place was as black as the sky without the light of its moon and stars.

Something told me not to shout out into the darkness for help. This place was way too eerie and I didn’t want to attract any unwanted attention. My intuition told me I needed to stay quiet and think rationally.

I patted what I assumed was the floor of this place. It was cold and slick, almost as if it were covered in ice. I swung my arms in a slow circle, hoping to find something, anything to grasp so I could pull myself up. Finding nothing, my arms sank back down to my sides.

I couldn’t help help it. I felt stuck and alone. With no light, no sense of direction, I let out a moan of despair. What was I going to do? I had to get out of here.

As I sat there, focused on my pity party, something clanked behind me. Like... armor? Why would someone be running in armor? But no... there were other running footsteps too. It sounded like they were running in a hallway. What in the world? Is there somebody else trapped here too?

“Al, keep running, don’t stop!” a young male voice exclaimed, panting.

“Right!” a hollow sounding voice replied.

That’s so weird. That totally sounds like the Elric brothers from Fullmetal Alchemist. But it couldn’t be... I must be dreaming. But then why does everything feel so real?

A suit of armor and a figure wearing red, carrying an oil lamp rounded the bend and ran straight into me. I was send sprawling to the ground, my face smushed into something metal. I could feel the bruises forming on my back and ribs, as well as the cut on my nose.

“Ow!” I yelled, struggling to get the weight off of me. The armor and figure in red rolled off of me and stood up.

“Oh no... there is no way... it can’t be...” I stammered.

Standing in front of me were the one and only Elric brothers. They looked exactly like they did in the anime.

“Ed... Al?” I asked, clutching my head in disbelief.

“Hey... who are you? How do you know our names?” asked Ed suspiciously.

“My name is Kisa, you don’t know me. But I know you. You’re from one of my favorite anime shows, Fullmetal Alchemist,” I explained.

“Anime show? What is that?” a puzzled Al said.

“There’s no time for that now, come on!” Ed yelled, grabbing the back of my pajamas and yanking me to my feet. Grasping my hand, he pulled me forward into a run as he snatched the oil lamp from the floor. I could hear something large coming from behind as we ran.

While we ran, several thoughts ran through my head. Oh my word... it’s really Ed and Al! And Ed is holding my hand with his automail arm! It feels so weird... alive yet metallic and cold at the same time. Wait... what are we running from? I need to get back... I need to tell Henrik. He’s not going to believe this.

As we entered a cavernous white room, I realized we had hit a dead end. I turned to face whatever was coming our way but Al and Ed stepped in front of me protectively.

“Listen, you need to get out of here. Go back to where you came from, this isn’t your fight,” Ed told me.

“That’s all fine and great, but the problem is I can’t. I have no idea where I am or how to get back to my... world, I guess you could call it. You’re stuck with me, unfortunately,” I replied.

“Brother, she’s coming! What do we do?” Al asked, pointing to the door.

Lust, one of the seven homunculi, entered the room. Her flawless face showing no intention of mercy. She turned up her black lips in a cruel smile.

“My my, what do we have here? The Elric brothers and a little girl. Too bad she won’t get to leave this place. This white room will be her grave,” Lust whispered in a seductive voice.

Extending her fingers into her trademark claws, she managed to nick me on the cheek before Ed was able to parry them. Lust retracted her claws and licked the droplet of my blood.

Al and Ed charged at Lust, yelling as they prepared to perform alchemy. I launched myself to my feet and ran in the opposite direction. Just as I started running, the room began to quake and I fell to my knees. Clutching my head between my knees, I could only hope I wouldn’t be crushed to death in this room. Then... everything went black.

    ***

I opened my eyes to find sunlight streaming through the window and across my face. Groaning, I rolled myself out of bed and made my way into my bathroom. I was about brush my teeth and wash my face when I noticed my face. Right where I had been nicked by Lust in my dream was a scab. I looked at my nose, noting that I had a cut exactly where I had gotten smashed in the face when Al and Ed fell on top of me. Lifting up my shirt, my worst fears were confirmed when I saw two fresh bruises on my back and ribs from where I had fallen.

Panicked, I ran to my room and dug through the pile of homework on my desk to find my phone. Addressing a text to Henrik, I wrote: “We need to talk... something weird happened. I need your help... something is just not right here. I’m afraid.” I pressed send, took a deep breath and went back to the bathroom to start my day. I don’t know what happened... or what’s going to happen. But I hope I won’t be alone.

And in my part, everything in italics is the dream.

I hope you guys like this. All feedback is most certainly appreciated! Let us know what y'all think of it! :D

And once again, Kisa belongs to =SpriteBlayde and she wrote every part of Kisa's POV.
And finally, I wrote all of Henrik's part as he belongs to me.

(I almost forgot to add this! I do NOT own Shadow The Hedgehog or anything related to him. But it'd be cool if I did. :lmao:)

This was fantastic. I absolutely love the imagery used to describe every little thing from the dew on the grass to the cold metallic feeling of Edwards automail arm. I just really, really love how this was written. Fantastic work. :)
