Fall Away

Problems are piling up on top of me

Covering me from head to toe as I try to fall away,

As I try to avoid everything and simply fall asleep

I wish my problems would fall away and just let me lay,

Here on this soft mattress and let me fall away from this stress

Just me let sleep, just let me escape, just let me dream

Let me play in the light and fall away from this darkness

I just want to go back to having fun and playing

I want nothing to do with all of these problems, this mess

I just want to go back to bed

I don’t want to be depressed

I don’t want to be stressed

I just want to close my eyes, and rest

So please just leave me alone,

Fall away, and let me sleep for it is these problems I detest

dear sarah, yesterday I tried to swallow the sun. it burned me up on the inside until even my skin was hot to the touch, and I thought of you.
