There's a lot that goes into this poem than really meets the eye. First reference is the fact that my mom often asks the family what we want for dinner/lunch/etc. and when we don't know what we want to eat, we just say, "Let's live off of love." Second reference goes to the philosophy of "breatharianism." A concept in which believers claim food and possibly water are not necessary, and that humans can be sustained solely by prana (the vital life force in Hinduism), or, according to some, by the energy in sunlight. Third reference goes to the fact most people say that we cannot live without love. That in and out of itself is a life source. Fourth reference, I'm just in a romantic mood and I'm a sucker for believing true love lasts forever.
Finally, I hope y'all enjoy yet another romantic quatrain.
